Fixer-Upper Sailboats
The Neglected boat you save may become your own
If you're looking for an affordable good old boat that needs major fixing up, you've come to the right place. We're helping marinas and neighborhoods get rid of the abandoned sailboats in boatyards and back yards (who knows? maybe even in brickyards -- that's where the Allied boats were once created). We're looking for abandoned, deteriorated sailboats in need of a new dreamer to turn them into a dream boat once more. So if you know of one, get in touch! And if you're interested in one of those listed here, follow your heart and follow up. Call the number listed.
Have something to add? Contact us. There's no charge to list a fixer-upper. But you must be selling it for $5,000 or less. Please let us know whenyour boat goes to a good home and we'll remove the listing.
There's no fee for the buyer either. We just want to help you find the boat of your dreams.

Centerboard thru small keel. I have done all the nasty hard grinding work on this boat interior and exterior. The boat is a blank slate for your imagination. Your chance to finish it your way.
What is included: Great main and jib, mast boom and standing rigging, two styles of chainplates, outboard motor bracket, swim ladder, companionway ladder, two replacement ports or four more if you want to replace the fixed windows with openable ports. The centerboard is light weighted which means even a child can raise the centerboard. No winches or panic muscle burning grinding, just grab the line and raise. Draft board up = 2'-6", this happens to be the minimum to get stand up headroom. Easy trailerability and launching so you can get up to the beach. Draft board down = 6'. Trailing beam less than 8". Headroom is 5'-10" .
What needs to be done: The bottom is ready for fill and barrier coating. The centerboard is gel stripped and ready for coating. The rudder needs edge glassing Install provided two ports. Install new front hatch. New bulkheads need install. Add touches to interior, paint interior, install head, provided chainplates, wiring , install provided companionway ladder.

Hence, there is molded planking on the hull. Tiller. Fixed keel. Good main and Genoa. 9.9 hp electric start Suzuki outboard. Transferable (on approval), inexpensive slip in Wilmington, CA (West of Long Beach). Even cheaper slips nearby without service. Needs bottom paint but sailable.
